Our First Week in Barcelona!

Our first week in Barcelona has been a great success! From visiting Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia, group cooking/meals, to exploring the Gothic Quarter, Barcelona is full of excitement.  Great friendships are being formed and students are practicing their Spanish by going to the markets, and exploring local parks and neighborhoods with their Spanish instructors.

Gothic Quarter

Electives have been a great time for students to expand upon their interests! Our photography students are getting the inner workings of how to use a camera from a professional photographer, our sports students are enjoying some pickup basketball, weightlifting and swimming in our indoor gym, and our Spanish conversation and art history/ architecture students have explored Barcelona history and culture, while practically using some of their new Spanish skills!

Tibidabo

Maxime, the Barcelona Program Director, has been sending many email updates to all Barcelona parents and if you haven't already, please join the Abbey Road Barcelona Facebook group, where pictures will be posted several times a week. Please email andrew@goabbeyroad.com for instructions on how to join! We look forward to visiting Park Guell on Thursday and taking day trips to Girona and Figueres over the weekend!
